Ms Barre started training at Hillingdon School of Taekwon-do in 2001, under Grandmaster T Y Au and graded under Grandmaster R.M.K Choy, the founder of the British United Taekwon-do Federation (BUTF).

She achieved the coveted black belt in 2013, being the oldest student to reach the rank of 1st dan. Ms Barre is a dedicated and valued member of our team, helping prepare hundreds of students for their gradings, showing a particular natural talent nurturing younger members. She prides herself on providing safe and inclusive training for all, whilst implementing the standard of Taekwon-do set out by the BUTF. Ms Barre has an excellent rapport with students and parents alike and always goes way above what is asked of her to ensure our students are the best they can be.
